We have a very simple fee structure – £95 per exam entry. (£85 per exam for NorthStarUK families.)*
An exam entry is one single subject, so if you wish your son/daughter to sit three IGCSEs with NSUK then we will charge you a total of £285.
Our fee covers all standard costs**, including exam board fees, invigilation fees and even the cost of sending out the final certificates!
Please note that we unable to accept applications from individuals who do not possess an email address.
* £10 discount to NorthStarUK families applies to examination subjects that have been studied with NSUK.
**What our fees do not cover
If a student requires access arrangements such as extra time, amanuensis etc, we will make an additional charge of £25. This is to cover additional costs e.g. longer invigilation.
Modern language IGCSEs require the student to take an oral examination. This is undertaken at our exam centre by a qualified modern languages teacher. We make an additional charge of £25 per student for this oral. This fee is paid in full to the MFL teacher for her services.
ICT IGCSE requires students to take two practical tests (Papers 2 and 3). These are administered by a qualified ICT teacher. We make an additional charge of £80 per student for these tests to cover the costs of employing this teacher.
Dates and Deadlines
We strongly recommend that registration forms are sent to us as soon as possible. We only have a limited number of spaces and in popular subjects such as English and maths we do anticipate there being quite a demand. We can process application forms at any time.
Our deadline for receiving completed registration forms for the October/November 2011 exams is Tuesday 2nd August 2011. We are unable to process applications after the deadline date.
